Logo: Pink Armenia

Pink Armenia, the acronym for Public Information and Need of Knowledge, is an LGBT organization which started with a focus on HIV/Aids issues. They later broadened their scope to human rights protection, advocacy, LGBT community empowerment and social-psychological and legal support. They do their advocacy by writing publications on the issues facing LGBT people in their country and now, their brand needed an update to reflect this new broader focus.

They required a logo that matched the professional research they do and match the target market in a modern world. The logo needed to match:

  • Optimism

  • Happiness

  • Youthfulness

  • Vibrancy

  • Playfulness

  • Affection

This is the best contribution for us, believe me all the team was so excited to see the options that you have made for us. All of them are so beautiful it was hard for us to choose one option, however we came up with an idea to choose the 1st option.
— Mamikon Hovsepyan, Executive Director

The chosen logo was a modern design with rounded edges to look friendlier and more approachable. Clean lines were used to to add to the professional look. The “i” is similar in style to those on information symbols on maps, due to the abbreviation of P.I.N.K.

Each letter is a different colour to mimic the rainbow flag, which is iconic with the LGBT community, and to add to the vibrancy.
